Malayalees stranded in Saudi: KV Abdul Qadir assures Union minister V Muralidharan to intervene

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs V Muraleedharan has said that measures will be taken to repatriate Indians including Malayalees who were stranded due to travel expenses in Saudi Arabia. The minister said this in a meeting with the KV Abdul Qadir MLA, Guruvayoor minister, who is also the chairman of the Kerala Legislative Expatriates Welfare Committee and the state general secretary of the Kerala expatriate group.

Hundreds of Indian workers at Aldosari Company in Dammam are suffering from travel bans. Water and water is blocked at the labor camp. After a visit, the MLA brought the matter to the attention of the authorities. With the intervention of Dammam Navodaya, the workers are provided with food and medicines. The MLA said that the 'prohibition' against the workers was a violation of human rights.

KV Abdul Qadir MLA, Union Minister of State for Labor and Employment, said the Union Minister assured that the issue would be resolved at the World Labor Law Meeting next week in Abu Dhabi.
