Kuwait: The Kuwait government has resumed the direct flights to and from India and five other countries, starting from Tuesday, September 6, the Kuwait News Agency reported.The other five countries are: Egypt, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The flights to these countries were restricted over COVID-19 concerns.Kuwait’s Directorate General of the Civil Aviation(DGCA) on Monday has announced the resumption of direct flights to and from India and five other countries.
Supervisor at DGCA Raed Al-Taher said in a statement that there will be five daily flights depending on the number of passenger occupancy determined by and in accordance with cabinet resolution in this regard.
First inbound flight is at 6 am on Tuesday, he revealed, stressing the importance of adhering to health regulations to stay away from any violations. Kuwait’s decision to resume flights was announced for the first time last month, but without giving a time frame for implementation.
Entry is open to those who have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine and approved in the country.
