CIMS actively participated in the preparatory meetings of the GCM document and
campaign across Indian states to educate various stakeholders about the importance of
the GCM document. It was CIMS who organised the First Consultation on the GCM in
India, in collaboration with ILO at Delhi on 9 th January 2018. During post-adoption stage
CIMS engages with stakeholders for the better implementation of 23 Objectives in
Indian context. CIMS initiated five state level and a national level consultation on the
implementation of the Compact.
